Today’s scrumdidlyumptious delight:
Yum. The Cafe makes a mean Carrot and Coriander Soup (oh so good). But this is just so much more autumn-y. Which is perfect, because the leaves they are a changin’. Slowly but surely Autumn has started and will slowly come to pass, which is oh so lovely.
The soup, after a few minutes in food processor, came out a bit chunky (which is good in so many ways)… and the ginger added just enough zest to the life of the orangey goodness. We had Rye crackers with it, and I just have to say that getting the SMS in the middle of my Monday morning meeting asking, “you like ginger? I’m going to make soup. Ready at 12:30” made this entire little adventure perfect.
